Each year Fair Ambassadors meet at the CNE in August to compete for the title of CNE Ambassador. Each Ambassador is profiled in the great hall at the CNE. A photo is included with the profile. The CNE requests that the image be in colour and it must have a black background. It’s not my first choice for a portrait background, however I can see they probably do it for consistency since each Ambassador is required to have the photo made using their photographer of choice.
